![]() This is Ronald Reagan’s yearbook photograph. In the 1930s college pictures were often taken only once and used over and over again. This black and white picture is small (approximately 2 inches high and an inch and a half wide). It is cut in an oval shape. The photograph shows only his head and shoulders. He is wearing a dark suit, white shirt, and a plain, dark, silk tie. His chin is cocked slightly to his right, and he looks in that direction. His hair appears to be almost blond, parted in the middle and combed off his face. It is folded on his left side as if he rolled it back and then pushed it forward again to give height. His smile is hesitant, as though any minute he would break into a wide grin. | |
